President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Lagos after concluding a series of high-level diplomatic and strategic engagements in France, Kenya, and Rwanda, aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s international partnerships, economic cooperation, and regional influence across Africa and beyond.

The President’s multi-nation visit focused on deepening bilateral relations, attracting foreign investments, enhancing security cooperation, and promoting Nigeria’s economic reform agenda on the global stage.

During his engagements in France, President Tinubu held discussions with key government officials, investors, and business leaders on areas of mutual interest, including trade, energy, infrastructure development, and economic collaboration.

In Kenya, the Nigerian leader participated in consultations centered on African unity, regional stability, innovation, and intra-African trade under the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

He also explored opportunities for stronger cooperation between Nigeria and East African nations in sectors such as technology, agriculture, security, and youth empowerment.

While in Rwanda, President Tinubu engaged with President Paul Kagame and other top officials on issues relating to governance, economic growth, peacebuilding, and regional development.

The discussions also highlighted the need for stronger partnerships among African nations to address emerging economic and security challenges confronting the continent.

The presidency described the trip as productive and beneficial to Nigeria’s long-term diplomatic and economic interests, noting that the engagements further reinforced the country’s commitment to international cooperation and sustainable development.

President Tinubu was received on arrival in Lagos by senior government officials, party leaders, and aides, following the successful completion of the foreign mission.

His return comes amid ongoing efforts by the administration to reposition Nigeria’s economy, improve investor confidence, and strengthen the nation’s role in regional and global affairs.
